Gerald (Jerry) W. Napleton concentrates in the areas of commercial litigation, corporate law, commercial collections, and workers’ compensation defense. He has successfully argued in several jurisdictions including various Circuit Courts, the Illinois Workers Compensation Commission and the Illinois Appellate Court. He has represented a variety of clients from individuals to large corporations.
Jerry was born in the southwest metropolitan area of Chicago and attended Marist High School. He received his undergraduate degrees from St. Xavier University and his law degree from DePaul University College of Law.
Jerry is actively involved in the Illinois State Bar Association and serves as a council member of the Young Lawyers Division. He has also served on the Alumni Board of Directors for St. Xavier University.
Recently, Jerry has been selected for inclusion in SuperLawyers magazine as one of Illinois’s “Rising Stars” for 2012. This recognition is limited to less than 2.5% of practicing Illinois attorneys.
