Brandon A. Carnes focuses primarily on litigation and concentrates his practice in the areas of Creditors’ Rights and Consumer Law Defense, Commercial Litigation, Construction Litigation, Mechanics Liens, Municipal Law, and Civil Appeals. Brandon currently acts as national coordinating counsel for a network of local counsel relationships for out of state litigation for a variety of clients. Prior to law school, Brandon attended Iowa State University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in political science. At Loyola University Chicago School of Law, Brandon was on the dean’s list each and every semester of attendance and was a member of the Appellate Lawyer Association’s Moot Court Team. His moot court team placed first overall, won the best brief award, and Brandon also received the third place individual oralist award. Brandon worked as a clerk throughout law school, in both private practice and in an externship with the U.S. Attorneys’ Office for the Northern District of Illinois.
