Patrick is a partner in the firm’s Corporate Transactional Practice Group. He works with private companies, entrepreneurs and sophisticated investors to help them structure and close complex business transactions in a broad range of matters, including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, private equity and strategic alliances. Patrick has represented clients in a wide variety of industries, including food distribution, manufacturing, software, business services and transportation fields. He provides counsel regarding private placements, fund formation and fundraising, shareholder and operating agreements, buy-outs, governance, organizational structure and internal operations. Patrick enjoys working with clients to identify and implement the most effective solutions for meeting their business objectives.

Patrick also represents real estate investors and developers on complex real estate matters, including joint ventures and partnership agreements involving preferred returns, buy-sells and control issues, lease acquisitions, retail, office and industrial leases as well as purchases and dispositions involving tax structuring and earn-outs.

In addition to his transactional experience, Patrick works closely with individuals and families on estate planning, business succession planning, and trust and probate administration matters. He also assists clients in the design and implementation of asset protection strategies.
