Sammy is an associate in the firm’s Corporate and Real Estate Transactional Groups. Sammy counsels a diverse group of companies on legal strategy, regulatory matters and compliance issues, working to help ensure they adhere to the best business practices. He has worked with clients in a wide variety of industries, including food distribution, manufacturing, software, business services and transportation fields. He also works with the firm’s financial services team, helping craft loan documents on behalf of both local and national banking associations, as well as individual borrowers and lenders. Sammy enjoys working with clients to identify and implement the most effective solutions for meeting their business objectives.
Sammy also represents real estate investors and developers on both commercial and residential real estate matters. He has extensive experience in real estate transactions, working with purchasers, sellers, landlords and tenants in complex real estate matters.
Prior to joining private practice, Sammy was an Assistant Attorney General in the Environmental Litigation division of the Illinois Attorney General’s Office. In his first job out of law school, Sammy served as Counsel to the Illinois Speaker of the House during the 2013 legislative session.
