Brittany D. Johnson concentrates her practice in civil rights litigation representing various municipalities within Cook County and the State of Illinois. She also has experience in general civil litigation with an emphasis on tort litigation and insurance defense, representing a multitude of small businesses and larger corporate entities at the trial and appellate level. Prior to joining private practice, Ms. Johnson served as both a research attorney and as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Cynthia Y. Cobbs in the First District Illinois Appellate Court and has drafted over 40 published and unpublished opinions.

Ms. Johnson graduated with honors from the University of Oklahoma in 2007 earning her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. She received her Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law and was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2013.
