Senior Trial Counsel

Michael Norton is a Senior Trial Counsel at Rock Fusco & Connelly, LLC, where his practice focuses on commercial and general litigation. He brings a results-oriented, technology-driven approach to managing complex litigation for institutional and individual clients, complemented by a background in molecular and cellular biology, technology development, and intellectual property.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Norton served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Government Representation Division of the Office of the Illinois Attorney General, where he litigated federal civil rights matters, ADA class actions, and medical torts on behalf of the State from pleadings through jury trial. He previously practiced complex commercial, fiduciary, and real estate litigation at Kovitz Shifrin Nesbit, and spent four years as a prosecuting attorney with the City of Chicago Law Department.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Norton founded Norton Advocates, LLC, where he designed and built a proprietary legal intake and case management platform to expand access to affordable legal services – work recognized with back-to-back Chicago Bar Foundation nominations for Best Innovation in Legal Service Delivery.
