Pat Moran represents insurers, business entities and individuals as well as elected officials and government bodies and their employees in complex civil litigation matters. He has significant experience with claims involving civil rights violations, employment disputes, professional negligence and general tort liability. Mr. Moran also represents a variety of companies and individuals involved in business disputes, including claims for breach of contract, fraud, shareholder and partnership disputes, restrictive covenant disputes, statutory violations and defamation. He has tried cases to verdict in state and federal courts and before various arbitration panels, and is a member of the Trial Bar for the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois.

Outside of work, Mr. Moran served for six years as a Board Member for the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Cook County, which provides trained volunteers to advocate in court for abused and neglected children so they have a chance at living in safe, permanent homes.  He also serves as a hearing officer on the Chicago Bar Association’s Judicial Evaluation Committee.
